moonhorse: 'Dog Troll' Epidemic on Internet Causes Epidemic
An epidemic on the Internet has taken place over the past few weeks. Slowly, more and more dogs have started “logging on” in attempts to play what many are calling “not-so-harmless” pranks on their two-legged companions.
“I was chatting (online) with who I believed to be a 37-year-old woman from Phoenix,” recalls Martin Longelton, 46, a shoe repairman man from Idaho, “When all of a sudden she started talking about kibbles. Evey other word was kibbles. At first, I tried to go along, but then it just got too weird. Long story short, turns out… dog troll.”
Martin is not alone. Many have called into the Dog Troll Hotline, also called “Who Let the Dogs Troll?” with complaints that they have been had by what they used to think was “man’s best friend.”
We asked Roger Mersen, Chief of Police of Florida and Dog Troll Troll Specialist, how long this Epidemic-demic would last, Mersen said, “These types of things come up every once in a while. The best thing to do is to just wait it out. Eventually the dogs will get bored and decide to go watch TV or something.”
Until then, Mersen advises people to change their passwords frequently and to not leave their laptops lying next to the kennel.
If you or someone you know has been the victim of Dog Troll, call the “Who Let the Dogs Troll?” hotline at PP5-1-DOODOO.
